Shari has been teaching in Corvallis for decades, specializing in Celtic fiddle taught the traditional way, by ear. She works with students of all ages, performs locally, and is widely respected in the Corvallis music community.

Shari has been teaching in Corvallis for decades, offering instruction in fiddle taught the traditional way, by ear.

She is experienced in coaching people on their musical journeys no matter their starting point, from the first moment of picking up the instrument to the subtleties of bowing and style, variation and ornamentation.

Shari works with students of all ages, 4 to 104, with training in the Suzuki method. She is well versed in many styles of fiddling, including Irish, Old Time, Contra Dance, French Canadian, Scottish, and is currently exploring some Scandinavian and Klezmer as well.

Shari performs locally for dances, and is widely respected in the Corvallis music community.
